This page is used to create and configure a new facility.
Facilities provide a logical organizational unit with which to organize your operational work and protect your facility information. Facilties have workpools that contain the accounts that are to be audited or coded. The facility layer allows you to control access to multiple workpools making organization of auditor and coder work duties simple and efficient.

When a chart has been coded or imported into CORE, it is automatically routed through COGS, Streamline Health's proprietary chart analysis engine. If the chart has a DRG Validity - the likeliness that the current DRG is the most appropriate one for the given encounter - below this threshold, the COGS narrative, if one exists, will automatically be displayed on the COGS advice window.
When a chart has been coded or imported into CORE, it is automatically routed through COGS, Streamline Health's proprietary chart analysis engine. If the chart has a DRG Validity - the likeliness that the current DRG is the most appropriate one for the given encounter - below this threshold but above the always show narrative threshold value, the auditor will be notified that, if one exists, there is a COGS narrative available for review on the COGS advice window.
There are several fields available for administrators to add facility-specific notes that could help auditors understand the specific needs of a facility as well as provide contact information.
